El Pollo Loco Adds Baja Double Tostadas and New Shrimp Taco for Limited Time

El Pollo Loco is adding shrimp to the menu with the launch of new Baja Double Tostadas and a Baja Shrimp Taco.

The new items arrive February 18 and will be available for a limited time at participating locations nationwide.

The new lineup builds on the chain’s classic tostadas and adds seasoned Baja shrimp, more protein, and a new Lime Crema Sauce.

Each tostada comes in a crispy fried shell and is layered with shredded lettuce, pinto beans, seasoned rice, shredded Jack cheese, fresh salsa fresca, sliced avocado, sour cream, and a sprinkle of chili lime seasoning.

Here is a closer look at the new options:

  • Baja Double Shrimp Tostada – Comes with a double portion of seasoned shrimp and the new Lime Crema Sauce. It has 38 grams of protein.

  • Baja Double Chicken Tostada – Swaps the shrimp for a double portion of El Pollo Loco’s citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chopped chicken. It has 66 grams of protein.

  • Baja Chicken & Shrimp Tostada – Includes both fire-grilled chicken and seasoned shrimp in one tostada. It has 52 grams of protein.

  • Baja Shrimp Taco – Features seasoned shrimp, shredded cabbage, salsa fresca, and Lime Crema Sauce wrapped in a warm flour tortilla.

El Pollo Loco says the new items are meant to offer a fresh twist on its fan favorite tostadas, along with a seasonal seafood option.

Prices were not provided and may vary by location. The Baja Double Tostadas and Baja Shrimp Taco are available systemwide for a limited time.
