Mountain Dew Baja Blast Launches MLB Home Run Freebie Promo, Teams Up with Rawlings on $400 Glove


Mountain Dew Baja Blast is kicking off the 2026 baseball season with a new nationwide promotion tied to big home runs, along with a limited-edition glove collaboration.

Starting with Opening Day of the 2026 Major League Baseball season, the brand’s “Get a Baja for a Blast” promotion rewards fans when players hit long balls during regular season games.

Any home run that travels 420 feet or more unlocks a free Baja Blast.

To take part, you need to sign up online and add the Baja Blast pass to your mobile wallet.

When a qualifying home run is hit anywhere in the league, you can redeem a free soda the following day. Redemptions are capped at five per person for the season.

Fans can also track qualifying home runs through a live leaderboard on MLB’s website, which updates in real time.

Alongside the promotion, Mountain Dew Baja Blast is partnering with Rawlings to release a limited-edition baseball glove.

The glove features a teal color scheme inspired by Baja Blast and is made with Rawlings’ Heart of the Hide leather.
