Dairy Queen Sets March 19 for Free Cone Day 2026, Free Vanilla Cones for All

American Dairy Queen Corporation is bringing back Free Cone Day on March 19, 2026, the day before the start of spring.

As usual, you can stop by a participating Dairy Queen location and get a free small vanilla soft serve cone topped with the brand’s signature curl.

The chain says since the tradition started in 2015, more than 38 million free cones have been handed out nationwide. It gave away 5 million free cones last year alone.

The sweepstakes runs through March 19, 2026 and is open to legal residents of the 50 US states and DC, excluding Texas, who are 18 or older and DQ Rewards members.
