Kroger is launching an Online Deal Days event that runs from April 22 through May 5 with savings focused on Pickup and Delivery orders.
The limited-time promotion centers on digital coupons and order-based discounts available only through online shopping.
Here are the main deals you can expect:
- $30 off your first Pickup or Delivery order of $75 or more
- Unlimited free delivery on orders over $50
- Digital coupons on thousands of items for Pickup and Delivery
The event also includes discounts on store brands:
- 25% off Simple Truth protein items
- 25% off select Private Selection frozen fruit and frozen pizzas
- 25% off select Kroger brand frozen chicken
If you are a Boost by Kroger Plus member, there are extra savings during the event:
- 10% off fresh produce from April 22 to April 28
- 10% off meat and seafood from April 29 to May 5
Kroger says customers are increasingly choosing online grocery options for speed and convenience. According to the company, delivery orders save about 47 minutes on average, while pickup saves about 29 minutes.
For faster needs, Express Delivery is available in as little as 30 minutes, with peak ordering times around 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sundays are the busiest day for the service.
Kroger also says it can deliver in under two hours from 97% of its roughly 2,700 U.S. stores.
As for what people are ordering, the top Pickup item is Heritage Farm Boneless Chicken Breast, while the top Delivery item is Driscoll's strawberries.
The company notes that Boost by Kroger Plus members saved on average more than $200 on fuel and $792 on groceries over the past year.
