Wendy's is bringing back its Sweet and Sour dipping sauce starting April 27, 2026, after a nearly seven-month break from menus across the U.S.
The returning sauce had built up demand on social media, with fans calling for its comeback through posts, comments, and tags. It is now available again at participating locations nationwide, though only for a limited time.
You can order the Sweet and Sour sauce as an add-on and pair it with items like chicken nuggets, Tendys, or Hot & Crispy Fries.
The sauce rejoins Wendy’s existing lineup of dipping options:

- Sweet Chili
- Scorchin’ Hot
- Creamy Ranch
- Honey BBQ
- Honey Mustard
The chain also teamed up with content creator Jaz Smith to highlight the return, tying the comeback to fan demand.
There’s no word yet on how long the Sweet and Sour sauce will stick around, as its future may depend on customer response during this limited run.
