Boar’s Head Debuts Deep-Fried Turkey at the Deli Counter


Boar's Head is bringing the flavor of deep-fried turkey to deli counters nationwide with the launch of its new Fryer’s Deep Fried Turkey Breast.

The product aims to recreate the taste of a traditional deep-fried turkey in a ready-to-slice deli format available year-round. According to the company, the turkey is cold-brined for moisture, oven-roasted, and then finished in oil to achieve a crispy, savory flavor while maintaining a juicy texture.

To mark the launch, Boar’s Head is rolling out a national marketing campaign spanning TV, audio, digital, and social media. The effort includes a high-profile activation on the Exosphere in Las Vegas, where the product is being showcased on the massive LED display.

The new turkey breast is made to go beyond standard sandwiches, with suggested uses ranging from club sandwiches to salads and even as a main protein for meals. The company also recommends pairing it with bold cheeses and condiments for added flavor.

Nutritionally, the product is positioned as a lighter option, offering 13 grams of protein per 2-ounce serving, along with lower fat and reduced sodium compared to typical deli rotisserie turkey. It is also gluten-free and made without artificial flavors, colors, fillers, or added MSG.

Fryer’s Deep Fried Turkey Breast is now available at select deli counters across the U.S.
