
The offering includes three items: the Sourdough Double Melt, Cheese Double, and Double Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Each item is available individually or as part of a small combo meal with fries and a drink starting at $6.
According to the company, the Sourdough Double Melt includes two beef patties, multiple cheeses, and grilled onions on toasted sourdough bread, while the Cheese Double features more than a quarter-pound of beef with traditional toppings.
The Double Spicy Chicken Sandwich includes two spicy chicken patties with lettuce, cheese, and mayonnaise.
“Bold flavor and serious value are what we do best,” said Scott Johnson, Chief Marketing Officer of Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc., in a statement announcing the launch.
The company is also introducing two additional sandwiches aimed at customers seeking larger portions: the Bacon Sourdough Buford and the Bacon Sourdough Clucker, both featuring multiple proteins and toppings on sourdough bread.
Based in Tampa, Florida, Checkers & Rally’s operates more than 700 locations nationwide and has positioned itself as a value-driven drive-thru brand. The new menu items reflect a broader industry trend of emphasizing affordability as consumers respond to rising food costs.
The company did not specify how long the promotion will remain available.
