Burger King is giving its long-running Original Chicken Sandwich two new limited time variations with the arrival of the Loaded Jalapeño Original Chicken Sandwich and Club Original Chicken Sandwich at participating locations nationwide starting July 7, 2026.
First introduced in 1979, the Original Chicken Sandwich features a lightly breaded white meat chicken patty, shredded lettuce, mayonnaise, and a toasted sesame seed bun. The chain is now expanding the lineup with two new takes that build on the classic sandwich.
The Loaded Jalapeño Original Chicken Sandwich comes topped with creamy jalapeño sauce, crispy jalapeños, pickled jalapeños, crispy onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and American cheese.
Meanwhile, the Club Original Chicken Sandwich adds crispy bacon, melted Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise to the signature chicken patty.
According to Burger King, the new sandwiches arrive after customers expressed interest in seeing more varieties of the Original Chicken Sandwich, which has remained a staple on the menu for decades.
The Loaded Jalapeño Original Chicken Sandwich and Club Original Chicken Sandwich join the classic Original Chicken Sandwich for a limited time at participating Burger King restaurants across the U.S.
