Einstein Bros. Bagels is putting ranch on bagels with the debut of a new, limited-time Ranch Shmear.
Available only at the chain's Howell Mill Road bakery in Atlanta, the new spread blends the tangy flavor of ranch dressing into Einstein Bros.' signature double-whipped cream cheese. It's available in bakery only, while supplies last.
The chain says the new shmear was inspired by the recent surge of ranch dressing videos across social media, where international soccer fans trying the popular American condiment helped turn ranch into a viral trend.
The timing of the release also lines up with Atlanta hosting a semifinal soccer match on July 15.
