K9 Resorts to Open New Luxury Pet Hotel in Troy, Michigan This Fall

K9 Resorts is expanding in Michigan with a new luxury pet hotel set to open this fall in Troy at 2966 Industrial Row Drive.

The 10,500 square foot facility will offer cage-free dog boarding and daycare, along with more than 2,000 square feet of outdoor play space. The resort can accommodate more than 100 dogs and will offer year-round boarding, group daycare for small and large dogs, and individualized daycare options.

Guests can also expect amenities such as spacious suites, all-inclusive meals, hospital-grade ventilation systems, antimicrobial flooring, and sound-reducing construction.

The Troy location will be K9 Resorts' 52nd overall and its second in Michigan, joining the company's existing Grand Rapids resort. It will also be the 19th location operated by franchise group Luxury Pet Hotel Investments (LPHI).

Leading the new location is general manager Dionne Zick-Reep, a Michigan native with experience managing luxury pet boarding facilities and a background in dog breeding, training, and showing.

Ahead of the opening, K9 Resorts is offering several pre-opening promotions. Customers can save 25 percent on five-day and 10-day boarding packages, receive 50 percent bonus daycare days, or sign up for a limited-time Founders Pack membership that starts at $49 for the first month before increasing to $299 per month for the remainder of the first year.

Construction of the Troy resort represents a more than $3 million investment and is expected to create about 23 jobs once the facility is fully staffed.
