Meijer Cuts Prices on More Than 1,000 Items Through Early September

Meijer is lowering prices on more than 1,000 grocery and household items through Sept. 8 as part of a limited-time promotion for shoppers across the Midwest.

The sale includes rotating discounts on everyday products in popular categories such as meat, fresh produce, cereal, snacks, and household essentials. The lower prices are already available in stores, online, and in the Meijer app, with no coupons or special sign-up required.

"We believe families should not have to work as hard to save money on groceries," Don Sanderson, Meijer's chief merchandising and marketing officer, said in a statement. He said the promotion is meant to thank customers as they enjoy the final weeks of summer.

Customers can shop the sale in stores, through pickup, or with home delivery.

The promotion is part of Meijer's broader focus on offering lower prices throughout the year. The retailer said its year-long discounts on Meijer brand everyday essentials have already helped customers save $2.5 million in 2026.

Meijer also said it plans to continue offering discounts on its store brand products during the holiday shopping season.
