Noodles & Company is adding a new limited-time pasta dish to its menu just as families head into the busy back-to-school season.
Starting Aug. 5, customers can order the new Baked Cheese Tortelloni. The dish features cheese-filled tortelloni layered with marinara sauce, topped with mozzarella cheese and Italian herbs, then baked until golden and bubbly.
The company said the meal is made fresh to order and finished in the oven. It joins other baked pasta options, including Baked Chicken Parmesan and Roasted Garlic Cream Tortelloni.
Survey points to back-to-school dinner stress
The menu launch comes alongside new research commissioned by Noodles & Company that highlights the challenges many parents face during the school year.
According to a survey of 1,000 U.S. parents, nearly two-thirds said family dinners provide valuable time to connect with loved ones. At the same time, nearly two-thirds said meal planning, grocery shopping and cooking add to their daily mental load during the back-to-school season.
The survey also found that 66 percent of parents miss being able to enjoy a relaxing meal because they often spend dinner thinking about their growing list of tasks. If dinner were already taken care of, most parents said they would rather spend the extra time relaxing or enjoying more time with their families.

Noodles & Company said the Baked Cheese Tortelloni is available for a limited time at participating locations.
The findings are based on a June 2026 survey conducted by Ruder Finn through Pollfish. The survey included 1,000 U.S. parents ages 18 and older who have at least one child under 18 living at home.
