Carl’s Jr. Introduces Western Bacon Chicken Sandwich and New Dipping Sauces Starting April 8

Carl's Jr. is adding a chicken twist to one of its most recognizable builds with the new Western Bacon Chicken Sandwich.
The limited-time item is available now at participating locations for $5.99 and is scheduled to stay on menus through May 12, 2026.
The sandwich takes inspiration from the chain’s Western Bacon Cheeseburger and swaps in a crispy chicken fillet. It features an all-white meat chicken breast that is hand-dipped in buttermilk, lightly breaded, and fried until golden brown.
It’s topped with:
Two strips of cherrywood-smoked bacon
Melted American cheese
Crispy onion rings
Tangy Western Barbecue sauce
Everything comes served on a seeded bun.
Alongside the new sandwich, Carl’s Jr. is expanding its sauce lineup starting April 8, 2026, bringing flavors inspired by existing menu items to its Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders and sides.
The lineup includes:
Diablo Habanero Ranch (from the El Diablo Burger)
Santa Fe sauce (from the Charbroiled Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich)
Western Barbecue sauce (from the Western Bacon Cheeseburger)
New Garlic Parmesan sauce with a creamy, herby, cheesy profile
Improved Heinz Ranch with a cool, tangy flavor
The new sauces are meant to give you more ways to customize chicken tenders and sides with familiar and new flavors.
The Western Bacon Chicken Sandwich is available for a limited time, while the sauces begin rolling out nationwide on April 8.
