DoorDash is rolling out a new emergency relief program aimed at helping Dashers offset higher fuel costs.
The limited-time program runs through April 26, 2026 and includes gas cash back and weekly payments based on miles driven.
The program centers on two main benefits for eligible Dashers:
10% cash back on gas purchases
Dashers who use the DoorDash Crimson Visa Debit Card can earn 10% cash back on gas at any U.S. station. That’s up from the usual 2% rate and applies whether you’re actively delivering or not. Gas rewards are capped at $700 in spending per month.Weekly fuel relief payments
Dashers who drive at least 125 miles while actively completing deliveries in a week can earn extra payments. The amount scales based on mileage:125 miles: $5
200 miles: $10
250 miles: $15
According to DoorDash, combining both perks could translate to estimated savings of about $1.40 to $1.90 per gallon, depending on how much you drive during deliveries.
The program is designed to benefit higher-mileage Dashers in particular, including those in suburban and rural areas where trips tend to be longer.
In addition to gas-related perks, DoorDash is also highlighting existing support for electric vehicle drivers. Dashers using the Crimson card can earn 2% cash back on EV charging, and additional charging discounts are available through Presto.
The gas relief program is available now for U.S. Dashers and will continue through late April 2026.
