Frito-Lay Recalls Miss Vickie’s Spicy Dill Pickle Chips in 6 States


Frito-Lay is recalling select 8-oz bags of Miss Vickie’s Spicy Dill Pickle Potato Chips because some bags may contain jalapeño-flavored potato chips that include milk, which is not declared on the label.

For most people, the chips are safe to eat. However, if you have a milk allergy or sensitivity, consuming the affected chips could cause a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction.

According to the company, the affected bags may have been distributed as early as January 15, 2026 to grocery stores, convenience stores, drug stores, and local digital retailers in the following states:

  • Arkansas

  • Louisiana

  • Mississippi

  • New Mexico

  • Oklahoma

  • Texas

No other Miss Vickie’s products, flavors, or sizes are part of the recall. Bags included in Variety Packs are also not affected.

Frito-Lay says it discovered the issue after being contacted by a consumer. As of now, no allergic reactions related to the recall have been reported.

If you have the recalled product and have a milk allergy or sensitivity, you should not eat the chips and discard them immediately.
