Lucky Charms Unicorn Cotton Candy and Tropical Trix with Moana Hit Shelves This Summer


General Mills is introducing two new cereals for summer 2026.

The new releases include a whimsical twist on Lucky Charms and a tropical version of Trix tied to a popular Disney film.

Lucky Charms Unicorn Cotton Candy Cereal

Lucky Charms Unicorn Cotton Candy cereal brings a cotton candy flavor to the classic cereal. It features three new unicorn-shaped marshmallows and is made with colors from natural sources.

The cereal is also gluten-free and includes 19 grams of whole grain per serving along with added vitamins and minerals.

Tropical Trix featuring Disney’s Moana Cereal

Tropical Trix featuring Disney’s Moana cereal is a fruit-flavored cereal inspired by Moana.

The cereal offers a tropical taste and includes added vitamins, minerals, and calcium.

Like the new Lucky Charms variety, it uses colors from natural sources.

Both cereals are part of General Mills’ broader effort to remove certified colors from its U.S. cereal lineup by summer 2026, with plans to extend that change across its full U.S. retail portfolio by the end of 2027.

Lucky Charms Unicorn Cotton Candy and Tropical Trix featuring Disney’s Moana cereals are set to roll out at retailers nationwide starting in summer 2026.
