Denny’s Unveils Mozz Pit Burger to Celebrate 13th Anniversary of Viral "What's Up" Video

Denny’s is marking the 13th anniversary of its viral "What’s Up" video with a new limited-time creation: the Mozz Pit Burger. This bold burger will be available from April 29 to June 2 at select Denny’s locations in Houston, Los Angeles, and Miami—where it all began.

The Mozz Pit Burger takes a classic 100% beef patty, adds melted American cheese, and sits it all on a soft brioche bun. The burger gets even more wild with three crispy mozzarella sticks, drenched in tomato sauce, creating a combo of burger and cheesy indulgence that’s hard to ignore.

Here’s what makes the Mozz Pit Burger stand out:

  • 100% beef patty with melted American cheese
  • Three crispy mozzarella sticks drizzled with rich tomato sauce
  • Served on a golden brioche bun

Denny’s President & CEO Chris Bode describes the burger as a tribute to the brand’s “no rules” attitude, which has helped make the diner chain iconic. Fans of the restaurant are encouraged to dive in before the burger disappears in early June.

If you’re not near a Denny’s with the Mozz Pit Burger, there’s still plenty to check out on the menu, including the He-Man Battle Burger, inspired by the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie, hitting theaters June 5.

For more information, you can use Denny’s location finder to see if there’s a participating restaurant nearby.
