As more people look for convenient ways to add stronger flavors to home-cooked meals, packaged food companies are expanding into premium sauces and condiments.
Nestlé USA is the latest to do so, introducing a new retail line aimed at bringing restaurant-style flavors into everyday cooking.
The company is launching Minor's Kitchen, a lineup of chef-inspired sauces based on the legacy of Minor's, which has supplied professional kitchens for more than 75 years. The move marks Nestlé’s first entry into the U.S. at-home condiment category.
Minor’s Kitchen features four sauces made without artificial colors, artificial flavors, or high fructose corn syrup. The lineup includes:
-
Lemon Garlic Aioli, featuring roasted garlic and lemon
-
Creamy Korean BBQ, with sesame, ginger, and soy plus a touch of sweetness
-
Spicy Chili Truffle, combining white truffle with Calabrian chili, lemon, and garlic
-
American Smokehouse, a BBQ-style glaze with molasses, spices, and a hint of smoke
Each sauce comes in a 13-fluid-ounce bottle with a suggested price of $6.99. The products are available exclusively through Amazon at launch.
The new line adds to Nestlé’s broader culinary portfolio, which includes brands such as Maggi, and reflects its push into shelf-stable cooking products for home use.
