Culver’s Brings Back $1 Scoops of Thanks Day, Debuts New Custard Flavor

Fans of Culver's will have a sweet reason to stop by next week: the chain’s annual Scoops of Thanks Day is back on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

For one day only, guests can receive a single scoop of Culver’s Fresh Frozen Custard in exchange for a $1 donation. The nationwide fundraiser supports local chapters of the National FFA Organization, a youth group focused on developing future leaders in agriculture.

The event is part of Culver’s long-running Thank You Farmers® Project, which has raised more than $8 million since its launch in 2013. Scoops of Thanks Day alone has contributed over $1 million since it began in 2016, according to the company.

In 2025, customers redeemed 171,319 scoops during the one-day event, underscoring both the popularity of the promotion and its impact on agricultural education funding.

This year, guests can choose between classic Vanilla or Chocolate custard. They can also opt for a new limited-time flavor created specifically for the occasion.

Dubbed “Blue Barn Brownie,” the dessert features vanilla custard swirled with fudge and caramel and finished with brownie pieces.

The chain says proceeds from the event will help fund hands-on learning experiences for students pursuing agriculture, from classroom projects to leadership development opportunities.

Culver’s operates over 1,050 locations across 26 states, and the deal is expected to be available at participating restaurants nationwide while supplies last.
