Purely Elizabeth is entering the protein category with the launch of new Protein Ancient Grain Granola, now available at Target stores nationwide.
The new granola line features 10 grams of protein per serving sourced from ingredients like pumpkin seeds, almonds, cashews and chia seeds rather than protein powders or isolates. Each variety also includes organic oats and 6 to 8 grams of fiber per serving.
Available flavors include Cinnamon Toast, Almond Butter & Berries and Dark Chocolate Blueberry.
According to the company, the new lineup is certified gluten-free, vegan and Non-GMO Project Verified.
“We saw an opportunity to rethink protein in a way that feels simpler, more transparent, and more delicious,” said founder and CEO Elizabeth Stein.
Purely Elizabeth says the product launch comes as consumer demand for protein-focused foods continues to grow beyond traditional breakfast occasions.
The granola retails for $7.99 per bag and is also available through the company’s website. Purely Elizabeth will celebrate the launch with a two-day pop-up event in Venice, California, on May 15 and 16 featuring product sampling and a frozen yogurt truck.
