Taco Bell is giving its Mexican Pizza a Cantina Chicken makeover for a limited time starting May 21, with Taco Bell Rewards members getting early access through the app beginning May 19.
The new Cantina Chicken Mexican Pizza combines the chain’s slow-roasted Cantina Chicken with black beans, green chile sauce, and a three-cheese blend layered between the Mexican Pizza’s signature crispy tortilla shells. The item is then topped with shredded purple cabbage and pico de gallo.
Priced at $6.49, the limited-time menu item was first teased during Taco Bell’s Live Más LIVE event earlier this year.
Alongside the new pizza, Taco Bell is also rolling out a new Jalapeño Citrus Salsa sauce packet across the entire Cantina Chicken lineup for a limited time. The sauce combines citrus flavors with red jalapeños and guajillo chiles for a sweet-and-spicy flavor profile.
Each Cantina Chicken item will come with both the new Jalapeño Citrus Salsa and the existing Avocado Verde Salsa packets, while supplies last. Additional sauce packets will also be available for 20 cents each.
