Taco Bell Debuts New Cold Brew Lineup and Purple Velvet Foam

Taco Bell is jumping deeper into the coffee game with the launch of its first-ever Cold Brew lineup at Live Más Café locations starting May 21.

The permanent lineup pairs smooth cold brew coffee with three flavored cold foams, including the eye-catching Purple Velvet Cream Cold Foam, a horchata-inspired topping with Taco Bell’s signature purple color. Joining it are Caramel Dulce Cream and Vanilla Cream Cold Foam options.

Taco Bell says the new drinks are part of the brand’s push into beverage innovation as it works toward a goal of $5 billion in beverage sales by 2030.

The chain’s cold brew uses a proprietary blend of medium and dark roast Arabica beans sourced from Latin America. Taco Bell says the coffee goes through a slow cold extraction process for a smoother, lower-acid flavor profile.

The Purple Velvet Cream Cold Brew combines the chain’s signature cold brew with a sweet and creamy horchata-inspired foam topping, while the Caramel Dulce Cream version adds buttery caramel notes. The Vanilla Cream option keeps things classic with a lightly sweet vanilla finish.

The new drinks are available in 16-ounce and 20-ounce sizes for $4.59 and $4.99, respectively, at participating Live Más Café locations in Houston, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Southern California.

Taco Bell is also giving away limited-edition bandanas on May 30 to customers who purchase a qualifying medium cold brew at participating cafés while supplies last.
