Taco John's is bringing back Mexi Rolls for a limited time after years of requests from fans pushing for the crispy menu item's return.
Originally removed from most Taco John's locations years ago, the returning Mexi Rolls feature seasoned beef, refried beans, and melted Cheddar cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla and fried until crispy.
The chain says the item is handmade in-house daily and served with a choice of seven dipping sauces, including Nacho Cheese, Sour Cream, Guacamole, House Salsa, Fiesta Sauce, Ranch, and the new Avocado Ranch.
Mexi Rolls are available in 2-piece, 4-piece, and 6-piece orders priced at $3.99, $5.99, and $7.99, respectively.
"The Mexi Roll comeback is a testament to the power of Taco John's fans," said Taco John's President and CEO Heather Neary. "Their passion, persistence, and appetite made this moment possible."
Taco John's says fan demand for the item never faded, with supporters rallying behind what the company calls a "Roll-volution" to bring Mexi Rolls back to menus nationwide.
The limited-time return is available now at participating Taco John's restaurants.
