Pringles is giving hot dogs a crunchy flavor makeover with the launch of new Pringles Pop Dog Buns, a limited-time line of potato-based hot dog buns infused with three of the brand's signature chip flavors.
Available in Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ, and Honey Mustard, the can-sized buns swap out the standard hot dog bun for a potato bread version flavored to match Pringles crisps. The buns measure 7.5 inches long and come packaged inside the brand's signature cans.
According to Pringles, the new buns were inspired by hot dog variations from around the world and are meant to pair with the matching Pringles flavors. Fans can also top their hot dogs with the corresponding crisps for an extra layer of crunch.
The flavor lineup includes:
- Sour Cream & Onion Pop Dog Buns with tangy, creamy onion flavor.
- BBQ Pop Dog Buns with smoky, sweet barbecue seasoning.
- Honey Mustard Pop Dog Buns with a sweet and tangy honey mustard flavor.
Pringles will release the Pop Dog Buns in two online drops at 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, July 8 and Wednesday, July 15, which is National Hot Dog Day. The buns are available free with the purchase of a Pringles Three-Pack featuring Sour Cream & Onion, BBQ, and Honey Mustard crisps for $6.97, while supplies last.
Fans can sign up for email notifications at OnceYouPopMarket.com ahead of each release. The Pop Dog Buns will also be available through Pringles' Instagram and Facebook Shops during both drops, while supplies last.
