Ukrop's is recalling about 22,880 pounds of its Baked Spaghetti and Chicken Cobbler after receiving a consumer complaint about a metal piece found in one of the fully cooked products.
The recall covers products made between July 1 and July 29, 2026, with Best By dates ranging from July 8, 2026 through August 5, 2026. The affected items were sold at retail locations in Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia, as well as through Department of Defense locations and online orders.
The recalled products include:
- Ukrop's Baked Spaghetti Bulk, 62.4-ounce aluminum pans
- Ukrop's Baked Spaghetti, 14.8-ounce trays
- Ukrop's Chicken Cobbler Bulk, 48-ounce aluminum pans
- Ukrop's Chicken Cobbler, 11.6-ounce trays
The products bear establishment numbers EST. 19979 or P-19979 in the USDA mark of inspection.
No injuries have been confirmed in connection with the recall.
The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) advises consumers not to eat the affected products. Instead, they should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase for a refund.
The recall was issued out of concern that the products may contain small metal slivers. Consumers who believe they were injured after eating one of the recalled products should contact a healthcare provider.
