The fourth annual Pizza City Fest will return to L.A. LIVE on April 25 and 26, taking place atop the Event Deck and featuring a wide range of pizzerias from across Southern California and beyond. The two day festival will showcase 20 pizzerias each day, along with two dessert vendors, offering unlimited tastings to attendees. Participating restaurants will represent a variety of styles including Neapolitan, Chicago tavern style, New York style, artisan, Grandma pie, Detroit style, New Haven apizza and L.A. style pizzas. All pizzas will be baked fresh on site. Founded in 2022 by food reporter Steve Dolinsky, a three time Emmy Award winner and 13 time James Beard Award recipient, Pizza City Fest is held in Los Angeles, Chicago and Nashville. Wendy's is teaming up again with Girl Scouts of the USA to launch two Thin Mints-inspired Frosty treats for a limited time. Available now nationwide, the lineup includes: New Thin Mints Frosty Fusion : Vanilla Frosty blended with crushed Girl Scouts Thin Mints cookies and a minty cookie crumble sauce. Returning Thin Mints Frosty Swirl : Vanilla Frosty swirled and topped with minty cookie crumble sauce inspired by Thin Mints. Both options can also be made with a Chocolate Frosty base instead of Vanilla. Chipwich is adding nuts to the outside of its ice cream cookie sandwiches for the first time with the launch of two new flavors, Vanilla Chocolate Almond and Brown Butter Pecan. Both new sandwiches feature premium glazed nut pieces rolled around the edges. According to IDFA research, nuts rank among the top five most popular ice cream toppings, but they have not typically been used on ice cream sandwiches until now.
