Universal Joint is bringing back its National Burger Day promotion for 2026 with free smash burgers for Joint Rewards members on Thursday, May 28.
The one-day deal will be available at participating Universal Joint locations across the Southeast as well as at Brake Pad in College Park, Georgia.
Guests who sign up for the newly revamped Joint Rewards loyalty program can redeem one free smash burger topped with bacon and Million Island dressing, with the option to add cheese.
According to Universal Joint, last year's National Burger Day giveaway quickly became one of the brand's most popular promotions, leading the company to bring it back for a second year while expanding participation to Brake Pad locations.
"We had such a great response last year that bringing it back felt like an easy decision," said Universal Joint co-founder Marc Brennan.
The updated Joint Rewards program relaunched on April 28 and now lets members earn and redeem points across both Universal Joint and Brake Pad locations. Members earn one point per dollar spent and receive $5 off for every 100 points earned.
The National Burger Day offer is valid May 28 only while supplies last.
